Tennessee hunter here that wants to learn to be able to start shooting long range shots for white tail and coyote.

My guns:

Weatherby .300MAG and ar-15 in .223 also looking into a Remington 700PSS .308

So far I can pretty easily shoot 1.5" dots at 200yds all day. I will be looking to start shooting for 300 and 400 yards next.

I need to start learning how to do elevation and windage adjustments.

Welcome to long range hunting.

Sit back and relax, read a lot, ask questions about anything you want to know and get all the trigger time you can.;)

Looks like you've got a couple of guns there to get you started but be careful......it gets addicting and expensive very quickly.:)

addicting isnt the word for it, I keep 300 rounds loaded at all times just to sooth that itch I keep getting on my right forefinger, nothing better to walk into the reloading room and see that much ammunition sitting on the bench ready to be shot. Welcome to L.R.H Its a blast
