New Gun Laws Trying to be Passed Today

Biden is nuts ! The way to stop crime is severe penalties ! NO more plea bargains ! TRIAL ANDCOVICTIONS immediately ,. NO MORE mass killings without the death penality .In PA you will only get about 7 years 1 1/2 years for bank robbery .

Ghost guns aren't what's in the hands of criminals…. Stolen gun are!
Many studies even from the DOJ, FBI, ATF show that 90% of firearms used in criminal activities are STOLEN! The other 10% were legally purchased or got from a family member/friend. Included in the 90% was firearms that are sold on the black market and obtained illegally.
don't take what I just posted. Do some homework and look up the FACTS about Crimes with Firearms. Criminals/People are the true cause of high crime rates and our Justice System that releases criminals. That's the root problem not firearms or firearm manufactures.

Does anyone remember "FAST & FURIOUS" during the Obama Administration when our Government - ATF purchased firearms, then sold to the Cartels in Mexico and then sold to gangs, criminals here in the US. Remember when Agent Brian Terry - Border Agent was killed on December 14, 2010 with firearms purchased & sold by the ATF for the Program that the Obama Administration set up as "FAST & FURIOUS".
I do believe that Brandon was the VP and involved with "FAST & FURIOUS". Why does not the media bring this up. Brandon is Making a huge issue about" GHOST GUNS". I hop that the "GHOSTS from all the innocent people that were killed by "FAST & FURIOUS" come back to HAUNT Brandon! The "FAST & FURIOUS" Scandal was never cleared up. Attorney General Holder, at the time never pursued why "FAST & FURIOUS" was put into place and was illegal for our Government Agencies to run this operation.

I went ahead and did some homework and found the below report from the JCAT - Joint Counterterrorism Assessment Team. "The number of PMF recoveries from 2018 to 2019 doubled among prohibited persons and felons." "More than 23,900 non-serialized firearms were reported recovered by law enforcement from potential crime scenes from 2016 to 2020". Sounds like our law enforcement officials are concerned about these trends and I support our law enforcement.

I agree that people/criminals are the problem, so I'd prefer we not make it easy for them to illegally purchase a firearm. Banning ghost guns doesn't impact my ability to reload, shoot, hunt, and put meat on the table.

I'd prefer to keep guns out of the hands of criminals. Seems like banning ghost guns would help, but not prevent. If some criminal really wants a gun they'll figure out how, but I'd prefer not to make it easy for them.
👇 this is a FACT! Nobody wants criminals to have guns. The problem is the corruption in our justice and political system. If we all got together when a DA fails to prosecute and hold people accountable and walk into their offices, help them pack their stuff and tell them they are fired! Make criminals pay dearly and lawlessness will slow to a crawl.
Yeah because criminals follow laws? All these restrictions will do is further burden lawful gun owners, period.

Not trying to sound like a NRA rep..... but where does it stop brother.... pretty soon your 4 rounder will be dangerous. They know their arguments are trash and they don't care. Liberal judges help those crime numbers everyday....

Chicago the Murder Capital of the United States with the Strictest Gun Laws.
The City of Chicago has the strongest Gun Laws and yet this City has the most gun violence.
One would have to ask is the violence because of the guns, gun laws restricting what type of firearm you can own and who can own it
OR is it the Criminals and the LAWS put into place to prosecute criminals???????
See this link and hope that these laws don't come to your city.

Why not just make a law against murder? That should stop those darn criminals....

What they don't tell you in that report is how many WERE serialized but the serial number had been obliterated or some other means.

That's fine that you support law enforcement, but you should first support the Constitution and Bill of Rights.

If we divide that 23,900 by 4 we get 5975 guns with no serial number. Does it say that these were"ghost guns" or were the vast majority guns that at one time HAD a serial number and it was ground off. How many crimes were committed with guns in each of those 4 years? Need some perspective , please. And, as previously mentioned, the Second Amendment to the US Constitution isn't about 'hunting'. This is more of 'slow boiling the frog'. Take freedoms away slowly and they won't be missed. Boil the frog slowly, and he won't realize he's being cooked until it's too late. Criminal get the vast majority of their guns by stealing them. Then take a grinder and remove the serial nuumber. I don't think 'ghost guns' are as easily made as is being suggested,,,, just by watching a few YouTube videos.

Some levity. albeit truth...
