New cva accura

They must have changed the ram rod recently. My one year old Accura has a threaded tip. It got stuck on a PB bullet at the range and the elastic broke trying to remove the rod. I glued the rod together and now carry it fully assembled.

I ended up purchasing a second ram rod mine had issues. Also in my research found that anarchy out doors make a nice one to pair with the rifle but I ended up going with the CVA one again.

I ended up buying a collapsible one from Arrowhead. Just overall better quality and tip options.

I purchased the solid rod from CVA for the range and keep the collapsible one in my pack for if I need a field reload

My CVA carbon collapsible rod that broke was threaded.

Total bummer, I really love my original Accura V2 .50 with the single peice, threaded ramrod, under the barrel where it should be for quick follow up shots. I was keen to buy another but after fiddling with the collapsible ramrod of the MR-X I won't be purchasing another Accura.
