Here are a few pics of my latest build. It is a 6mm Dasher built on a Remington 700 blueprinted action. Specs are as follows -
Remington SA/RH chromoly receiver and bolt
.300" Tubb lug
26" K&P 1/7.5 twist SS full bull barrel with muzzle threaded 5/8-24
APA Fat Bastard Gen III 6mm brake
Timney Calvin Elite trigger
MDT LSS-XL Gen II chassis
Luth-AR MBA-4 carbine buttstock
Luth-AR Chubby hand grip(my favorite AR style hand grip)
MDT 6BR 10rd magazine
Nightforce 20 MOA rail
Nightforce 30mm medium ultralite rings
Vortex Viper PSTII 5-25x50 with EBR-2C MRAD reticle
Atlas bipod
Custom Cerakote and laser etching
The buffer tube is filled completely with lead to balance the heavy barrel. This brings the all-up weight to just shy of 20# with a full magazine. The weather has been crap here recently so I brought it in to work to zero the scope and get some baseline ballistic numbers. It looks like it is going to be a beast based on the first few groups that I shot. 105gr Berger Hybrids over 32.3gr of Varget ignited with a CCI450 out of Peterson brass is my initial load for an average of 2924fps. The target shows the second group fired from this rifle. 5 shots going into 0.31" at 100 yards. I'm looking forward to stretching it out on some long range steel plates and varmints!!
