Yep, look how much mass election fraud they committed and got away with in the Mid-Terms. That was their test-run. I'm truly worried about what they've got up their sleeves for 2020...

Sorry, Mud, but I'm not a fan of building the wall. I feel that if we take away illegals' reasons for being here- free money, college tuition, etc, and punish those who HIRE illegals, we have no need for an expensive wall.

We spent how many years trying (and finally succeeding) to bring down the Berlin Wall and the like, I don't want us to be thrown into the same class as those countries.

I also believe that the wall is more of an ego thing for Trump, than an actual deterrent. It's an ego boost that the entire country will be paying for for generations.

Are you a fan of ms13? I don't think it funny to allow criminals to come here and destroy our peace for our families. I also don't want the drugs associated with there coming here. Do you want your children or loved ones to be hooked or killed by the uses of drugs brought here from over them coming here with no way to dissuade them from hurting the ones we love. Don't kid yourself it big business they will still come and bring their poison with them. We need to secure a future for our families wellbeing. If you don't get this your probably part of the problem. All these laws are not going to stop the illegal guns also brought into the country every day that only criminals will possess. Criminals do not obey any laws. Just like gun free zones they won't stop them from doing their evil perpetrated on the innocent children or men and woman of this great country. You are right in saying we shouldn't be giving away our money to these illegal people. But just stopping these people won't stop the illegal immigrants that are a mennious to country. A law such as this is completely wrong and only hurts the abilities of the innocent law abiding individuals. It's just like legalizing marijuana, Michael Bloomberg wasn't stupid. I think they should decriminalize and completely legalize marijuana. It's no different than tobacco. Significantly better for you, as well as having medicinal properties. Trump has already paved the way with passing 50-state legal hemp legislation. That's a huge step forward. If he wants to win 2020 unopposed, he needs to federally legalize/decriminalize weed in all 50 states.

Bloomberg is an anti-gun a-hole that needs to go out to the ocean and practice drowning. So is anyone who is anti-gun or wants to take away our rights. They are not rights bestowed upon us by man, but by the Creator himself, therefore NO human has the right to take them away or infringe upon them in ANY way.

The fact is, I don't do drugs. And it's not for the fact that they're illegal, but because I don't want to put toxic crap in my body that could possibly kill me, or make me lose everything I have just to get a fix. Legalize all drugs...If someone is stupid enough to put that crap in their body, they deserve how they end up. And this is coming from someone who has had family members OD (on purpose), and friends die from drugs. The fact is, people are going to do what people are going to do. Same with criminals getting their hands on guns and harming people. Making bullcrap laws is all about people control, and not about keeping them safe. If someone thinks the government makes laws to keep them safe (like they try to tell you they do), then they're too dumb to comprehend reality...And probably watch CNN and MSNBC for their daily dose of Operation Mockingbird.

If the government stopped this phony war on drugs, the cartel would nearly capsize overnight. Once they deplete, take them down. Then continue to work on our own country.

We DO need a wall no matter what. We need to protect our borders from invaders and criminals.

I agree totally! I would like Nothing better than these traders to be convicted as criminals to our constitution. They are What I concider domestic enemies within. And are treasonous piles of..... Anyone who actually believes a wall will stop the drug trade is the one who believes in fairy tales. A wall will have approximately the same effect as putting Trump on that mountain in South Dakota.

It went to historic lows.
Why?
Because it was clear that the United States was no longer going to welcome all who came here illegally- showering them with money, a free education, a place to stay, etc.
Obama made it clear to the world that we would do that for all illegals, but as soon as Trump was elected the flow of illegals slowed to a trickle.

Therein lies the reality of what brings them here. The Liberals want them here to boost their voters, and they use OUR money to do it.

We don't need a wall, but even I would get behind building it if they would take all the Federal money that is going to the sanctuary cities and states and funnel it into a wall. Doing so would have the same effect as electing Trump initially did- it would show all those who want to come here for a handout that there is no free ride so most would stay home.

Take the money from them and put it into a wall and I'll get behind it because at that point, you've already put a huge dent in the flow.

I agree on stopping all funding to illegals. We just had a illegal man who was a serial killer caught here in nevada. Who had killed quite a few people.

I also have a uncle that in Texas that lives near the boarder that has witnessed all kinds of people coming into our country. As he is setting in a blind hunting wild hogs and deer. He told me last year that he saw some dressed like binjas, coming in the early morning. And they catch all kind of people importing drugs. These people can basically walk right in. I don't have time right now to complete this but will in a bit. Just trying to make you think about the real things we are dealing with.

The wall. If we were able to stop just some of the drugs coming in it would save us billions in keeping people out of our prison systems. It cost more than $100,000.00 just to imprison one inmate per year. We could fund a wall in no time just reducing the number of convicts in our system. Plus reducing the amount of time our courts are tied up with illegals and the nonesince we are providing for them housing ECT. Why don't we take care of our Veterans? They deserve more than someone who is here illegally. The only reason I can see Democrats are for letting them in is for a voter base. Mabe the rabbit hole is deeper than that. With the human trafficking and drugs being part a bigger piece of the puzzle. Think about that. Their is a place down in California called the Bohemin Groove, where these people do all kinds of weird b.s.
Mabe if people had some balls we could do something about it. But as far as I can see it's just like pizzagate and will never see anything happen to these very rich individuals. There is a whole lot going on in this country that is corrupt. We the people need to hold them accountable. We waste a lot of money in our political spending. I don't see anything wrong with using a fence to help curb this situation. I think people are so caught up on them self to realize what is right and wrong they tend to go with what others are saying instead of looking at facts.

One example would be the Clinton gun bill back in the 90's. It did nothing to curb crime but just increased it. Criminal love to have little to no resistance. So as a result crime was up 30 percent. When the law was let go into the sunset crime went down 40 percent over the next few years. And has maintained this since. There is a lot to be said about this. We need common sense approaches not more rules and regulations. Our forefathers had it right when they set up the constitution. We need to back their play.

I somehow missed this until tonight.

The Soviet socialists turned their empire into a huge prison camp, and prisons need walls to keep in the inmates, or else they will all take off. So their motivation was unarguably to keep people from escaping.

If we build a wall it is to protect our boundaries and keep invaders OUT, not to wall anyone in (in fact they are free and welcome to go).

There is an incomparable difference between the two motivations.

I find it intellectually appalling that anyone would conflate the two.
