No, it's the Ballistics App. Not made by Kestrel, sold by AB. Not the weather meter. Version 3.1.9 on the app

The Applied Ballistics mobile app (for phones/tablets) was overhauled. It is now called AB Quantum.
I updated automatically as well. Took me about a day to get the basics figured out, and still learning the ins and outs, but I do like that most of the information is on a single tab. Rifle profile, shooting solution, settings and devices each have their own location and are a little easier to navigate in my opinion. The app can connect directly to a lot of rangefinders, if you have one with Bluetooth. They are supposed to have kestrel support by the end of the month! I hope so. I too would have been PO'd if I had to learn it on a hunt. Good luck!
