So my phone auto updated while I was in Texas on WiFi.
Went to enter data for a shot and this new version is f-ing terrible. I'm not sure if my update is not correct but I have yet to be able to get it to spit out a chart.

All the data is correct. I hate This new version. May have to look at something else. Which I hate cause I loved the last version. Easy to use and worked great.

It takes some getting used to, but it has some good features. I was frustrated when I first opened it and had to relearn the program. They posted walkthroughs on the AB YouTube channel. Long, but got me running. The new version can talk to several rangefinders.

I've gotten used to it and like it now.

Ok thank you. I was just very frustrated that it happened while on a hunt. Just seems like the old one worked well and maybe a few small changes but man they made it all new. I hate learning the new stuff every few years
Like you: the old version was just fine for me.............. this update PMO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:mad::mad::mad:

Me too! Looks like a step back but I guess I have to learn it. Like Microsoft Windows I guess - all these new versions when I only use the same features I used 30 years ago.

You should get into the habit of backing up apps for that very reason. The new app is really good, but different. Not being able to select a rifle and then a sub menu of loads is very annoying. Reach out to Doc he'll help out quickly.

I agree 100%...........!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's exactly why I'm sticking to the old one as long as i can. I'm sure the new one is fine for output, but I LIKE MY SUB MENUS!

One thing I noticed about the new app is the BC for my 156 gr 6.5 SAUM profile showed red. A little messing around determined that the reason was because the load slightly missed the stability factor of 1.5. I had never checked but apparently the 1:8 twist common for 6.5 SAUM/ PRC needs something pushing 2900 fps to meet the preferred criteria for the 156 gr Berger.

I found the new app a little confusing at first but thought some of the new features like the example mentioned help offset the relearning effort.
