NEED LOADS for 30-378 Accumark

Have a few 30's 300 Wby Mag- 300 Win Mag - & 30-378 Wby Mag. Am now using Nosler 180 gr accubond's , 180 gr Ballistic silvertip for the 30-378 Wby and boy they work just fine, if need anything larger will go to the 338 Win or 338 Lapua with 210 gr Nosler Partitions +or to the 35's-375's cal guns. Have used RL22-H1000-7828 - 24N41 - 870 now back at H50BMG ( left over from my 50BMG days ) works wonders for me. Keeps me in the 3200 fps range with accuracy out to 500 yards for me now- eyes starting to go at this young age. Sucks when one gets younger !!!!!!!! Now find myself going back to the 280's and 7mm Rem mag and the 30-30 Win 94 still works wonders.
Guy's enjoy while you can SHOOT STRAIGHT & OFTEN.
I'm with you brother, but I just keep putting bigger brakes on them and keep playing. Hard to guit playing with HP. or FPS.😁👍

No replacement for displacement the big 30 will out perform in every weight bullet W/bbl. length being equal, same thig as a Rem 6mm and a Win .243, 426 hemi and a 396 Chevy, simple physics..
Was only trying to say that 3400 fps with rl25 should be easy to get cause I get more than that with ultra mag and yes I know the wby is bigger I own 3 of them and all the ultra mags if u want to get technical I can get 3611 by chronograph out of 26 inch barrel and close to 3500 with ultra mag

Well said! Tomorrow isn't promised and We All aren't getting any younger!!

Howdy all, picked up a used Accumark 26" barrel. I have never had one of these, I did install an Area 419 muzzle brake and shot a couple factory 220 Hornady, WoW what a rush, this thing is Awesome. Bullets I want to try are 185 Juggernaut and 215 Hybrid. Powders I have, 50 Bmg, Us 869, LRT, Rl- 25and26, Retumbo, H-1000. Greatly appreciate all help. Thanks.
Picked up a Brand New 30-378 MK5 RC still in the box. I got some serious info in this thread that's unbelievable! Thanks To Everyone who shared their loads and valuable information on what has worked. That's why I love this forum! Good Folks sharing great information!!
My Thanks to All💪🏻🇺🇸💪🏻

I just ordered some 174. Hammers to try out, Ima gonna see if I can get a safe 3500fps. out of em, talk about an elk laser!!! Speaking of elk I was up at one of low elevation spots for coyote with my big 30 yesterday morning slinging 151 gr. Hammers @ 3600 wanting to smoke a yote but got so caught up counting bulls I didn't make a stand for a couple hours later and by then the wind was getting it so I got outta the weather and headed back to the house... When I smoke a yote with that load I'll post photos, It's like my .220 swift on STEROIDS!!!!
My ".300 swift" load as someone here called it is a boring .300 win mag pushing hbn treated 120 grain Barnes tac-tx bullets at 4050 fps. It's flatter shooting than my .257 bee with 100 b tips for crying out loud. But alas, sub par accuracy, but inside 400 yards good enough and truly just point and shoot, no thinking.

This is the exit on a broadside hit on a whitetail doe at 150 ish yards.

I went from 50 BMG to Rel 50 which is readily available and was surprised that I had to back down to 113 grains in my 338/378 to my 3100 fps. The Rel 50 is way easier on the case expansion with the slower burn. Just my experience with this load.

U are right the rums are nice good performance lil cheaper I like about all magnum caliber Winchester Remington weatherby rule far as production rifle
Indeed! Have a fully custom CA 338 RUM in their flagship line… my elk thumper! Loves the Barnes Bullets in the 250 grain either the TTSX or the TSX, it likes either or 5-shot group I can cover with a quarter…
Only RUM I own, the 300 RUM & the
30-378 are so very close in their respective numbers no need for the purchase of the 300!

If you can't find 8133 try Ramshot LRT 28 bux a lbs. I bought like 10 pounds of it.
