How would I know for sure if that's what it is??My best guess is a David Pedersoli .54 cal. Traditional Hawken Target rifle. Condition will dictate value, Midway USA has very close rifle for 1043.00 new. Hope this helps.

I will try to get those picturesPedersoli has made Lyman BP rifles in Italy. Maybe some close up pics of the markings would help for comparison.
I don't think any of the trade or Great Plains have the patch box in the stockLook up Lyman trade rifle or great plains rifle. I don't remember them having the patch box on the side of the stock though.
