Need Gunsmith Who Can Thread TC Encore Barrel .300 Win Mag for Muzzle Brake

I'd like to see pics of how they threaded the fluted barrel

Youd need to contact LRI for particulars, but I know they use a cxc mill on this work.

I just meant a picture of the finished product. I'd assume they had to tread where the flutes are? I can't picture in my head how far the flutes run in my encore barrels.

Yes, I forget but i had measured to where the flutes were to the end of the muzzle, and discussed w them,
that they may need to thread slightly into them. They can do that w the cxc mill.

Shouldn't be an issue to do the work, some guys don't like to do it because they can't fit them through their lathe headstocks. Several other ways to accomplish a top notch job. The fluting is usually just cosmetic as far as butting into a muzzle device. Try to avoid it when possible, but works fine.
