N570 Powder

So I found a local provider that is supposed to be getting Vihtavouri powder in stock. And at a decent price I think. About $50/pound. From what I am seeing, the N570 is being in a lot of the Magnums. (7mm Rem, 300 WM , 300 PRC) If that is a wrong assumption someone please correct me. I have two questions here. How is the temperature stability? And how is it comparing to H100 and Retumbo? I already have these 2 powders but want to explore all options for the PRC build. Thanks for the help everyone.
Where did you find the N570 at? I have been wanting to try that in my .338-378 with 300 grain Bergers now that all my Retumbo will be used only for the .408.

Says so on the bottle…

N 570 I has only two drawbacks - availability and it's wicked dirty. Carbon removal becomes a hobby of its own. I can't stress enough how unbelievably dirty it is. Like 22 ammo except it is under much more heat and pressure that it's like scale.

I generally only clean my bore when my gun tells me to. With 570, thou shalt clean, a lot and often.

If it's speed you're after then n570 will be king in a lot of cartridges like 300 prc or win mag, however it does come with downsides. It burns extremely hot so it's very hard on throats. H1000 will give you significant barrel life increases over 570. It's also very large kernels so it doesn't play well with things like v3 autotrickler. But it is very temp stable in my experiences.
H1000 and retumbo are awesome.

N570 and berger 215 shoot really good in my 300 prc with high velocty. gained About 100 fps over h1000 with better accuracy. Test we're done at 500 yards.
as far as throat wear I'm not sure. I'd imagine if you run it hot it will wear throats on a gun but I believe that if you run any powder on the hot side it will burn the throat out faster.
never got to try RL 26 BC the N570 shot so dang good.
my load is pushing a 215 Berger at 2950 fps out of a 25 inch barrel with a accuracy that is crazy. No pressure signs and what I would call a moderate load. I typically only shoot at game or rechecking my dope before a hunt because of how well this thing shoots.
as far as cleaning. Yep clean every 50 or so shots. Bore tech carbon cleaner is an amazing product.
below is a friend of mine who shoot the gun at 1k. Shot 2 shots at 1000. I let him verify my dope this past weekend from 400-1000. He just wanted to shoot at a distance that he has never shot at and hit some target. Any way. All groups were very good. .
needless to says he was impressed
