Load I received is for Berger 156 which is not published yet, you have to call them for it.

I know guys running 58.4 grains of N570 and getting 3050 with the 156. The data above shows nearly three full grains more of 568. Anyone using N570 to compare?

I ran up to 62gr N570, believe I was compressed above 61r. 60.2 shoots good at 3070fps from a 26". 62gr was running 3160 w/ 156s. Edit: I am cut with about 230-240k freebore for the heavy eld, Berger, and 145 Barnes. This will make a bit of a difference.

Its working awesome in a 7mm mag.. about .5 grains more powder to get sqme MV as retumbo.. es of 10 over 8 shots. Im going tk run jt in a norma ai see how she does with the 230 otms

I just got my 300 RUM (1:9 twist, 27" Krieger barrel) back from Gunsmith at Large in Denver (blueprint/rebarrel/Cerakote job).

I measured my COALs for the Berger 230 OTM, Hornady 230 A-Tip, and Berger 210 VLDH. Then I used QuickLoad to calculate the max powder charge and muzzle velocity for LRT and N568, assuming I loaded 0.003" off the COAL across the board. At max safe load N568 was 30 fps slower than LRT (2,930 fps vs 2,900 fps) for the 230s, and 23 fps slower for the 210. This leads me to believe that N568 is at its best with heavy-for-caliber bullets in large magnum cases like the 300 RUM, 300 PRC, 30-378 Weatherby, 338 Edge, and 338 Lapua. I'll develop loads this weekend, and will report what I find here.

I built a 257 blackbird aka 25 blaser mag. With 135 bergers I hit pressure at same velocity with N568 as Retumbo, right at 3400fps. However the charge with N568 was 4gr more than Retumbo with much more case fill.

That makes sense. Lower energy density means you need to fill a big case to get to the same speed/pressure. . . .

According to Viht they were trying to make a short cut N570. I think the energy content is a fair bit lower per grain w/ 568. They may have missed their mark by a bit.
