That's awesome! It's more fun watching the kids get one then anything else. When my daughters got their first ones I think I was more excited then they were! Well maybe almost. Nice buck and a great dad. Good job to both.

My son killed his first mule deer last night. He is 10 yrs old. The shot was 154 yds prone on a rear bag, deer slightly quartered to us, he put it just forward of the crease and this guy went about 15 yds before giving up. I have 3 boys. I built this 6x47 lapua on a trued up 700 for them to learn to shoot with. So far my oldest and my middle son have both killed their first deer with it. 105 hybrids at 3030 FPS. For us the 105s have performed on deer just like the 215s do on elk in my 300 win.View attachment 219779
