I just happen to pick up a few boxes of these, and my new .308 likes these. Very nice groups at 200. I never hunted with Boat Tail's before. How do these perform on Elk ?

I normally use Partitions or Accubonds. Never a BT.

My R700 308 loved the Barnes 168gn TSX March . Absolutely hammered. 100 yd grouped in the .2's. Actually hard to beat 168's in a 308 from 600 and in.

Shot a little Ca buck with one @ 300 probably 10 years ago. Waaaaaaay to much bullet for that deer. Dropped like a truck landed on it And ruined a lot of meat.

I imagine it'd do just fine on an elk inside of 500.
