hate to double post as it ****es me off when others do it and it seems this thread has died (because you guys answered my questions) but now that I have decided on a .300NM, WHERE DO I START?!
Id like to go off a factory action because they are cheaper and I have plenty of them to start with and pawn shops have PLENTY
Is it safe to open up a regular 700 action up to the correct bolt face diameter for the .300norma? I know it uses the same bolt face as a .338lm and didnt know if it could be done safely.
Are there any factory rifles that chamber the .300 norma or atleast the .338 norma?
