Muzzle brake on a muzzy

I think this thread might have what your looking for. In short they work. I have ports in the end of one of mine that I lend to friends and they like shooting it.

If it's the shoulder push, that's one thing.
If it smacks your cheekbone, check your stock fit against your body.
Every rifle, and one muzzle loader, that smacked my face, the LOP was off and caused all the problems. It's amazing how 3/4" added to a LOP can completely change the recoil.

Running a four port Arrowhead on my .45. It's a big difference. I've shot it with the brake off and it cuts a HUGE amount of recoil. Started with the Arrowhead radial that came on the barrel. It worked great for recoil but don't like the radial type if you need to shoot prone.

Definitely need to check out LRCustomsinc.com for a muzzy brake system. He's also designed a MOA iron sight system for LR muzzy's (or AR's for that matter) for states that don't allow scopes.
Yup just got LR Custom MZ-REX2 on my McWhorter 45XML and it's way better than the one they put on her. Highly recommend LR Custom muzzle brakes. You won't regret it
