Well, after asking lots of questions and considering all input (which I appreciate) and consulting with a popular shooting school (thanks!) I went with the following which may cause mixed reactions considering preferences.
Leupold Mark 4HD Rifle Scope Tube 2.5-10x 42mm PR-1 MOA Reticle Matte Black
Please keep in mind that I have other hunting rifles and an almost identical 308 with a 5HD Duplex so I wanted something different to use for practice, target and some hunting. Just waiting on the McM Mountaineer stock (wanted something different from the Game Hunters I have with an Arca rail).
Just a little different from these, 7 PRC and 6.5 CM.
