Well.....Got two of my four home today. Can't thank Ken at Atomic enough for all his help. Will try the 22 Sparrow out tomorrow afternoon....hopefully the picture shows it on my Walther PPQ. The other is my .30 cal SAS Arbiter.

Well......ran about 75 rounds through the Sparrow today. About half through the PPQ and the other half through my 10/22 take down. To say I'm extremely pleased would be an understatement. I'm extremely thankful that we have the opportunity to own suppressors..........but I'm also a little bugged that it took so long. These make a significant reduction in noise levels.....both in terms of noise pollution and to help us maintain our hearing. If any of y'all are thinking about it.......it is worth it!!!

Yeah, I have decided to put one on my Savage Bear Hunter. It will likely cost more than the gun but so did my scope. There is a price to pay for keeping your hearing too. I am hoping they get things passed to no longer mess with the govt crap and just show my CC permit and buy one. I have some slight modifications needed for it to work on my Bear Hunter as Savage used a goofy thread for their brake. I have a few other things needed for the rifle first but a suppressor is on the list.

I sure hope the BATF would remove the suppressors off the NFA list. I've read some articles where they are going to change rules on the Trusts......like requiring all people listed on the Trust to be finger printed.....paperwork from local law enforcement and such. I agree it should be more like purchasing a handgun....but.....I'm sure our politicians don't understand that these things are good for noise pollution and our health. I'm sure they have images from movies where silent bullets take people out.

Anyway, Best of luck.....these are expensive little dudes.....but at least we can legally own them now.

Got the call from Atomic today. My stamp finally arrived. Going to make the 4.5 hour drive to Bloomington tomorrow, to pick my Yankee Hill Phantom Ti.

There used to be one up by whitefish between Pequot and cross, went there often when going to the cabin. Not sure if it closed down but it was by no means long range, I think it is/was a 150yd max. If you went to stretch out the legs on your creedmor heads towards thief river, there are 2 ranges within 10 miles of each other than do 550-600. Both are extremely reasonable for price. One is in fosston and the other in Plummer. (I believe both require a membership..Plummer is 25 bucks for a year I believe and I think fosston is 50). Good luck
