Minnesota

Haha tell Kenny or Dave that Jesse says hi and is happy to prove they can sell to customers who shoot further than 50 meters.

Funny......They were the two guys I dealt with as well!!!!! I feel really comfortable with all the guys I've dealt with so far. They all seem really sensitive to the fact we are new to this..........and are more than willing to help us through the process.

P.S.......I'll pass on your greetings....even though I've always shot beyond 50 meters :)gun).

Earlier today filed for mu Trust at Atomic Tactical. cost was under $100. You can put down up to 3 people on it. When you buy a supressor any one on the trust can use it with out you being there. Also, you dont have to have fingerprints, picture, and your local Chief Law Enforcment Officer signature when you file your Form 4. Dave at Atomic told me that with a Trust you can get your supressor quite a bit quicker, rather than doing on just yourself. Atomic was very helpfull. Now just need to save up some cash for a YHM Phantom Titanium.

Good news! Sounds like you're on your way. Also, with my limited knowledge, the Trust can be changed...ie names removed or added.....without having to notify the chief law enforcement officer. I think going with a Trust is very worth while. It adds a little more cost to the whole deal.......But for me....I like the idea that my wife or children can legally use the suppressor and not just me.

Good luck on your future purchase. It's really nice to know that Atomic is here for us and is so willing to assist in the process.

Hey guys Minnesota changed the law if your 60+ you can archery hunt with a crossbow! After years of punishing my self as a diesel tech my wrists cant take pulling and holding my compound bow so I just bought a excalibur phoenix crossbow and it is a joy to shoot, the accuracy is unbelievable I chronoed the arrows and it's shooting 304fps not to bad they advertise 305fps so it looks like I will be getting back into archery hunting deer this fall and turkey next spring who knows maybe some coyote hunting with it.

That is really good news.....Finally something that makes sense. I think there are a bunch of us with various joint problems / arthritis that have given up bow hunting. This opens that possibility up again.

Thanks for posting this news....Really brightens my evening :)

I too think its great news. I can hunt with my old man during the bow season! I am seriously also considering going to the doc as I did something to my left shoulder and it really hurts all the time. I cant lift it past my collarbone without pain. If it keeps going like this I may need to convert as well!

So went to Atomic today. Wow!!! Talk about swamped....Business appears to be booming. Anyway, super helpful staff....got to see the first of my suppressors....plus was shown a couple of other brands...very helpful. I cannot recommend Atomic enough....but just know they'll be swamped when you get there. They open their doors at 11 am.

Now.....waiting for the Form 4....which isn't easy when I got to see and touch my suppressor.

Not to derail this thread....Just wanted to give a heads up with this Form 4 paperwork business. My second Form 4 hit a bump in the road today. Evidently Each Form 4 requires a copy of ones NFA Trust. My first two went together with a copy of my Trust....but I didn't include with two that I've sent more recently. I thought the government would use the first one....Silly me. So...make sure you have a copy for each Form(s) that you send to Atlanta.

Put out the ladder stand and the camera the other day and have this bad boy hanging around and archery season is just around the corner, and it will be my first hunt with the crossbow

Know exactly what you mean Wayne. Got to handle mine at atomic as well. Now the wait seems like it's dragging on even slower, like a kid waiting for Christmas.
Anyone from MN receive their stamps yet?

Anybody from MN receive their suppresoor/s yet?

Just received word from Atomic yesterday....that my stamps arrived for my first two cans. Sent the Form 4's and checks the first week of June. Hopefully that means one more stamp coming each for December and January. Can't wait to bring the merchandise home :)...waiting sucks!
