I "gun juiced" my 300 RUM after it had about 6-800 rounds through it ( I don't count shots down the bore) and it was a time consuming PITA. It does clean up easier, and fouls less, but no bump in velocity. I have purchased Ultra bore coat to do a couple of rifles, it also waterproofs and makes cleaning easier (claims) but is much less hassle to apply.
