matrix 6.5 160gr bc update

Thanks guys.

I've been contacted via email and I'm set.

I'll test these long bullets in both a 1:8" and a 1:6" twist just to see if there's any difference.

It may take a while but it will get done.

Thanks and take care,
-Bryan

Thank you Bryan. We greatly appreciate your involvement.......Rich

Thanks Brian! Let me know if you need a spare barrel as well :)

A friend of mine from Wyoming, shoots the 160 Matrix @ 3390fps out of his 6.5-338 rum imp. He has shot targets to 1800 yds with 1/2 moa accuracy all the way out. He used a BC of .733 to make center elevation hits at 600yds-- 1250yds and 1800yds. Obviously the extra velocity and the 6500ft elevation is giving him a bit of help in the BC department!! ---- RHB

Has he tried the Woodleigh 160gr PPSN?

Heres more info guys, the 160 will not stabilize in a 8.5 twist at 2850 fps. Just FYI

Have we heard back from Brian on his findings? Thought I may have missed a thread.

I've been using a .682 G1 BC with good results. I run them at 3440 out of a 6.5/338 rum improved.
