Major problem with adding suppressor to 300 win mag. Looks like back pressure can open bolt.

See picture of suppressor. If you blow it up you can see the manufacturer. He did shoot it with out the suppressor it shot fine but after he had the boat problem it persisted even without the suppressor on... Thing is he never had any issues before the suppressor.

A definite phone call is in order. Check the adapter also.

Do you understand how caliber dimensions and numbering is actually measured?

7.62mm is the measurement to the tip of the lands on the rifling. The 0.308" is the diameter to the valleys/grooves between the rifling. The same thought process works for 5.56mm/.223, 6mm/.243, 6.5mm/.264, 6.8mm/.277, 7mm/.284, 8mm/.323 as examples of other popular options.

Examples:
7.62 NATO (7.62x51) is similar to .308 Winchester
5.56 NATO (5.56x45) is similar to .223 Remington

7.52mm = 0.296"
7.62mm = 0.300"
7.7mm = 0.303"

Never heard of a 7.52 bullet. It would be a 0.304" to the grove.

Best to contact the manufacture. The is something going on with back pressure. Maybe the ID of the GS made adapter is not correct.

Personally I would not thread a "Pencil" barrel to fit an adapter on it for a brake or suppressor.

If there isn't an obvious end cap failure that looks horrible the can is fine.

CGS is a good company and that's a 30 cal can.

Sounds like that ammo was on the edge of pressure in that rifle and the can pushed it over the edge. It's odd for a bolt gun, maybe it's a tight chamber, wouldn't be Christensens first maybe it's related to the adapter. Either way, if you're having to beat the bolt open you're over pressure

If the problem persists now even with the can off, then you can bet the issue is not the can. Change ammo and test again. If it persists, send to Christensen. For the price, I've seen an awful lot of Christensen rifles need to go back.

See picture it's on the right hand side of the ammo and the cases ... That's the adapter. Upon looking at the pic of the suppressor it appears to say it's a 7.52 instead of a 7.62... not sure how that could be.
I believe it is a 7.62 and not 7.52 due to poor engraving, and it appears CGS only makes this model in .30 cal., thus the 762 model designation.
