Hello all. Looking to get advice on the Wiser mount. Tired of not being able to chrono loads without fear of poi shifts when Magnetospeed is attached to gun. Hate to shoot 2 different groups, one for speed and one for group size. Not ready to spend the money on the Labradsr. Is the Wiser mount just a gimmick, does it switch easily to other rifles on site, pros and cons, ect. Want to make my range trips count, and need a new option to mount Magnetospeed on various rifles. I love my wiser mount if you have an atlas rail for a bipod on the front of your rifle make sure it is long enough to accommodate both or you'll have to shoot off a bag with the wiser amount attached to the rail that is the only negative thing I can say about it yes it switches from rifle rifle easily as flipping the tab on a quick release mount I've been wanting a lab radar since they came out but with the set up I have now I just can't see spending the money it does exactly what I needed to do no point of impact shift

In my opinion the Wiser mount eliminates the one and only downside to the MS. My last 800 or so rifle rounds I have shot have all been with the MS attached via Wiser.
It makes it so easy to mount and switch between rifles, that I don't see a need to waste the opportunity to collect data. (I'm a data junkie—the more the better)

how does the Wiser mount correct for taper of the forearm of the stock? does the Magnetospeed sensor remain parallel to the bore on hunting rifle stocks?

It doesn't. You'll have to get creative. My forearm undersides are parallel to the barrel.

I've got an HS Precision stock on one of my rifles and I replaced the sling swivel studs with a short Seekins rail section that has a an integrated swivel stud at the end. The bipod attaches there (just barely), but enough to keep it sufficiently stable for range shooting.
On longer rail sections they can both coexist just fine; the bipod will just be farther back than you may typically run it.
