Has anyone bought, built or used this action. Thinking about getting one for a 458 Socom or Bushmaster build? Quality and reliability, customizability considered.

I have used a few of them, both BDL and DBM, long and short. Very solid actions in my opinion. Extraction is very good. The indexed recoil lug is pretty well thought out, not needing pins to index.

I had been waiting patiently for a couple of years for a lefty version, it their last email to me said they don't have any plans for one now

I have 3 of them two are DBM and one is BDL .They are a great price for the money. Especially when you look at the cost of a Remington plus the cost of blueprinting it.

I've built two rifles using the Evo 1 and Evo 2 with nutted prefits. Great action for the $$$. As o said before extraction is very good as well as ejection.

No Savage I built on an Excalibur in a 280AI good barrels . I like the Remington 700 footprint.

I did an X-Caliber on a Savage. It was a Model 16 in 270 WSM. After all of the hoopla on the 6.8 Western I rebarreled my 270 WSM to 270 WSM with a 7.5 twist 24" medium Palma contour and it shoots 175gr Sierra TGK at 3050 sub 1/2" moa and is a Texas hog killing bad ***.
