It will be awhile before I can make the trip to Temple Gun Club to do load work at 500 yards. Based on the pressure test at 200, I will concentrate on the N568 and 175 EH coming out at about 3025.
Well, I did not make it to Temple Gun Club to zero at 3 and test at 5. We're still in Burke, VA doing grandparents' duty. However, the club president, a good friend, did me the honors.
On the way up, I dropped off the rifle to him to test for me. He just got back from NW CO after tagging a bull with Xbow a couple of days ago. Today, he had the time to set up the Shotmarker on their range
Here's the report. 175 EH, 74.5 N568. All I had on the gun was 200 zero. He took it from there.
With cooler temperature, most likely the 175s might be coming out closer to 3000 than they were at 3025 during initial pressure test. We shall see the load works with virgin Peterson 7mm long when I test in 2 weeks.

I like that cold bore consistency. No pictures, but buddy said, tight inside the X ring about 1 inch OTO. Retained velocity was 2581.

While in NOVA, another friend tested my 300WM with 215s at another range to get drops through 1K. Left him the LabRadar and V3 to test with virgin Peterson Long, and a different lot of powder.
Taking both rifles to CO. Plan to leave on the 9th or the 10th of next month. 1st rifle season is 14-18 Oct.

Does that wm have your chamber specs/changes/improvements?
Nothing really radical. It is an A191 with slight change, 300WM N191. Settled on this, because of the quantity of 300WM factory ammo I have on hand. On the range I just shoot the FGMM with 190 SMKs.
Are the 190's similar to the military rounds you've mentioned before?
