Upgraded to a 60w MOPA fiber laser about a month ago and I couldn't be happier. After a lot of testing, I finally found a good setting for burning through the cerakote, leaving good contrast, and not burning the surrounding coating. Something different than coating over the engraving.
Sure beats the old pantograph. Might try a tan color engraving in the future too.
