Losing my best friend

Sorry for your loss bud.
I thought we had lost our Joey this spring when she had a stroke and went limp for a minute or so. It was her second stroke in a year and she wasn't doing very well before it. I've been calling it her "factory reset" though as aside from being blind, she has pretty much recovered. Her final days will come though, and far sooner than we want then to.
She's a fighter, she's not ready to leave
God Bless

Nothing is harder than losing your best friend
My wife and I lost our sweet Millie girl on Halloween to an aggressive liver cancer that took her so swiftly
Millie was a five year old
German shorthair pointer
She was the best in the field and in our home
She was the sweetest soul
It is different when your dog is old and sick you prepare yourself for the inevitable
But to have them taken in the blink of the eye
Is vastly different and very hard to take
Rest in peace my sweet girl
I'm sorry for your loss. I am blessed to have enjoyed the friendship of many good dogs in this life and some stand out to this day. "Cowboy"

Sorry for your loss . I had to quit reading half way through the second page . When I stop crying perhaps I will continue to read the salute to your friend . Right now I will get a new handkerchief . Again sorry , I have no other words just tears .
Don't apologize we are human and we love our dogs, Millie meant so much to us

As Will Rodgers said "if there aren't any dogs in heaven, I don't want to go there ". Tai was my service dog for nine years and went everywhere with me. Passed at 11 from pancreatitis. Hope I meet her again in the hereafter.

Feel your loss. Lost my little Rat terrorist this past Dec, one week before Christmas I'd had her for almost twenty years. Her name was Rosebud! Now for the rest of that story!
When I was starting out on this forum I asked my family for help with a avatar name. Wife and son dared me to use the dogs name.

Now you know. Sorry to all who have lost their buds.
