Looking for Advice on a New 6mm Build

Coyotes to deer with a max of 300 yds, I'll also vote 6 Dasher. So fun to shoot, virtually no recoil, good barrel life, and doesn't burn much powder.

Just be sure if going with the Dasher that you have a stock that will accept mags designed for the Dasher. It's only downfall IMO is it can be hard to get to feed properly. I have one built on a BDL and can't get it to work. So I'm sending my EH1 in for an M5 inlet to run the Hawkins hunter mags with a spacer kit. Wish I'd known about this sooner. Live and learn.

I would probably look at 6 dasher since alpha and others now make brass and no fire forming. Run a 7.5 to 8 twist shooting 105 grain area for bullet.
I really like the dasher for target and comps. Very accurate and efficient for what it is made for. Comps

Fine out to 300 on game however IMO and IME a bit light for LR hunting

105 have a MV of around 2700. Energy retention a bit on the light side

I think this is why the 6gt came about. Slighlty less shoulder angle but basically the same case.

I've got 4 6mm Creedmoors, and they all shoot lights out. The Ruger American Gen I shot 1/2" groups out of the box as did the Savage 10 TSR. My heavy (24 lb) custom rifle can shoot 1.5" groups at 600 yards with a Berger 109 LR Hybrid at 3014fps.
Like someone said, the 6mm Creedmoor is the easy button.

I have assembled two in the last two years... I havent shot my 243 since..

I built a LA 6mm Rem 1:8 long range target rifle.

Then a Howa Mini in 6 ARC. MAN this one is FUN!!!!

I shoot 108/110 in 6Rem and have been staying 85/87 in lil 6ARC ta be able to keep speeds up.

I have numerous uTube videos up on both rifles. See my play lists for easier viewing.
