Long throat 223 Remington match

After doing som seating experiments I decided to seat an 88 eldm just so it functions my magazine, turns out the Ogive is at the same spot as an 80 eldm seated to ~2.563. I'll probably do 2.56 + .20 thousandths. I believe throating it this way will allow for lots of flexibility. If I can get the 88s to shoot great! If not it will work well with 73, 75 and 80 eldms and function in the mag with a high level of reliability. It will likely shoot factory ammo well. I have had such good luck with 223 Wylde and the jump has not caused issues and this will be in that ball park. Now I'm off to order the barrel. I will have the smith specify freebore and angle so if someone down the road needs it. Looking forward to posting my results.
