I have had 6mm and 243 and it takes a lot more powder to get what a Dasher gets. I run a 105 VLD at 3100 with my Dasher with 34 .4 grains of Varget. You won't get that much out of a short barrel but 2850 should be possibly attainable. I have a 6BR in a 10 inch and never chronographed it but it really shoots. Got it for my Pack gun so we don't have to take a rifle up the steep climbs when we go after a kill. Matt
