On a rig that is not going to see a bunch of punishment and mainly shot from bi-pods or a bench I would not spend the extra money for the NXS model and would stay with the BR model. Sure you have less elevation adjustment but with a 20 min tapered base you should still be able to get to 1000 with most rifles that are capable of shooting varmints or game and have a 100 yard zero on the main crosshair.
