Let's see your Varmint rifles !

Nice 243 My brother had one he bought in the late 60's and it was a tack driver I don't know wy the quit making it as the 700 BDL with bull barrel was near perfection. I could have rung his neck for selling it with out telling me I wanted it bad.gun)

Its probably a 1/2 moa rifle, but I just havent been putting the time behind the trigger with paper. The action is pretty slick though, definately cant find that on any SPS lol......:D

Haven't had much time to do load testing on it. Found this one from a guy wanting to trade for my franken LTR . He stated in the ad that it was a remington 700 VLS in 243. Wasn't even close.... It turns out receiver date is 1971 and barrel is May 1970. Really it is a Rem 700 BDL varmint deluxe. I had a VLS a few years ago and you can really tell the quality in this rifle vs. the previous actual VLS. Anyway, it can shoot submoa with 95grain bergers, but once I got a group I wanted I decided it was time to shoot some groundhogs. Sorry for the rotten pictures, I'm not a photographer. Love what those bergers do to those groundhogs ;)

Hey! Me too.
Trued action and bolt face. Medalist stock weighted with 2@ Smith & Wesson
15 ounce recoil reducers. One in back and one in forearm for low recoil viewing. This is my 1000 yd rifle at the moment. Touches bullets at 100 yds.
I start with 243 brass and size up in two steps, then neck turn, prep load and fire.
