I must have missed them or probably forgot. A brake on a 22-250? How is that more like a 17 fireball? Must not be any recoil at all.

Its nice...I can see my hits alot easier now at closer range..recoil is almost non existent. Gun just slides back. For the price I paid on the install it was a no brainer.

Here is my latest. Remington 700 chambered in 22-250, in a Mc Millan spider web stock.
Bull barrel 1-3/4lb super crisp trigger pull, and yes, a muzzle brake. It's a giggle game gun, meaning you get to see the impact through the scope. Amazing, and fun shooter. Oh, it's topped by an older Tasco 6-24x40, and a 1 hole shooter, all day long!! gun)

Some really nice guns in this thread so much so that I am compelled to post my latest varminter experiment . Don't freak out it is a work in progress and the final result may look different again .
Specs are two barrels 26 1/2 inch no 4 contour CM maker you would not know. One in 243 W for varmints and one in 30-06 IMP ( still to chamber this one ). Action 100 year old Mauser 98 ( not accurised ) Wolfe firing pin spring , Timmney trigger , Timmney safety. I built the stock and the Picatinny rail out of scrap and what I had onhand . Has two QD scopes one NV and one Leupold 3.5 to 10 ( temporary ) in QD ARMS mount with 20 MOA rail in the mount so when the day scope comes of the NV mounts on the fixed no cant rail . I have not shot it much as yet but the first groups so far are encouraging between .3 and .5 so far . Even shot a .78 group with the NV scope but generally they are larger with NV . Harris BRMS Bipod on an American defence QD mount .
As you can see it has the ability to be shot from multiple platforms . These are old photos and it's changed a bit since then .
Front rest / rear bag . Bipod / rear bag. Bipod / elevation adjustable rear cantilever monopod. etc.
It started as an experiment in how important stock rigidity is to accuracy and how much a super rigid stock could improve accuracy . I turns out is is more important than I thought and now I am very hesitant to lighten it any even though it's a bitch to carry but a pleasure to shoot . I have since Incorporated a carry handle . Things still to do , fit tac bolt knob , paint stock , lighten main rail ?? , experiment with lighter butt system , experiment with possible barrel block system. Fit better day scope want Vortex Viper when I can afford it .
I hope someone sees the concept .
