I have a habit of shortening a few words. It's from texting. U know. That new fangled thing u do on ur phone . I know it's annoying. Thing I leaned from my son. One that irritates me is "ye" for yes ! ***. Give me a break.

Yeah man I got three youngens and they be tearing me up with texts that I don't know that they mean! I guess I aint supposed to say that kinda family stuff since I am such an *** hole and all on here!

They were talking about post count, and said it's like in the military where they use slang acronyms, one of which is "RHIP", which stands for Rank Has It's Privileges.

That's part of why I can't stand the younger generations. I feel there might not actually be any hope for them. My generation is bad enough, the ones following mine are just designed to fail from the get-go. [anti]Social media has destroyed their social skills, smart phones have destroyed their ability to actually talk to and interact with each other, it's all digital typing and texting... It's seriously becoming like a mind-programmed A.I. matrix nightmare that they're going to eventually "tech" themselves into.
