I'm looking to get a tripod for the labradar. I do not like the labradar bench version as I will likely be mounting mine off the bench since the bench I shoot off of is not big. What tripods should I look at that are sturdy and adjustable? Thanks!

Look at labradars new quad pod..... I wish I had seen them before buying a tripod.
If someone is looking for a Labradar tripod, let me know! I'll sell mine and buy a quad!

Yeah but I'm not going to have it on the table which means I'll need to bring that conduit with me everytime which is annoying. The legs on that do not have an adjustable angle which also means they will stick way out sideways.

Ya, I guess I pictured short legs, on the bench over your rifle, with you shooting under the quad pod.....so you're looking for tall tripods to set up on the ground beside your bench?

That is correct. The barrel of my rifle sticks out past the end of the bench and from what I read the muzzle needs to be at the same plane as the labradar.

I haven't used mine yet, but have read that it's not enough online that I'm going to try it the first time out!

I don't have many shots of mine set up, but mine on a camera tripod and bench looks very similar to these in terms of the distance from LR face to end of barrel. I really don't think it's as finicky as people make it out to be, LR themselves sell the quad-mount that is relatively high and behind the barrel and catches shots fine:

Could someone provide an image of a LabRadar set-up that deals with ported magnum rifles?
You mean as in not sitting next to the brake like in the second pic I put up? I do shoot a 300 RUM and 338 LM with TBAC brakes exactly like that picture shows, just using the JKL trigger instead of the mics in the unit, offset from the barrel about a foot and the LR ~1 foot back from the muzzle. No issues.

But if you want something else, this is an overhead setup that minimizes lateral blast, it would work for sure:

Why not a camera tripod?
