Labradar Issues and the Solution - the Quad Pod

Like many others, I was having issues with my Labradar and my 7STW with a muzzle brake. Some have said they have no issues, but I did whether I placed behind the muzzle, in front or even with the muzzle. Not every time, but enough to be a real issue with me. Based on a thread from this site, I called Ryan Cheney at FTW Coatings, Wichita, KS and got on his que for his Quad Pod that he cranks out on his 3D printer. I just got mine last week. Bought a 10 ft section of 1.25" EMT electrical conduit, cut 4 each 24" legs and went to the range. Placed the Labrador on top of the objective lens and shot under the Labradar, set the offset to 18" and went to work. It worked flawlessly on my 40 shots today. If you are having issues with yours, might want to consider putting your name in the que for this device. You won't be sorry for the expenditure.

I think this would be the best set up I've seen so far . glad you got one . I sent an email probably in February , never heard back . maybe I'll try again . I have a ball head on the way , I was going to make something similar .

Just got my quad pod last week also, yet to test.

Highdrum, why is there a cell phone mounted on the side of the radar with two cords coming from the power connection. Also what is the orange duflinkus on your shooting mat with the cord attached?

I have a USB battery pack running my labradar, gives me 16 hours of operation in warm weather, 12 in cold. The other cord is to the trigger, I just put a rubber band around my scope objective and slip the trigger in against the scope. It senses recoil and catches the shot. Used for suppressed shooting. I never miss shots this way, like maybe 1 in 200. Way better than using dopplee trigger source. Got my labradar pimped out son! The old beater phone from many years back runs the Bluetooth connection to the labradar. The newer phones don't stay connected for crap.

It is indeed. It's a lil spendy, but works great.

You probably need to get the trigger device made for the labradar ! All my error messages stopped when I bought this I expensive device that attaches to your stock with velcro

LOL! My $18 dollar (from Home Depot, cut the leg for the 18" parameter) redneck version ...

There is an offset hole to mount and adapt to my range bench.
