Labradar...how to know if it is US or EU model?

I recently purchased a labradar and the box it came in did not have the model checked off. There is a box for US/CA and one for EU and neither was checked. I heard the EU model had a weaker radar in it due to regulations. How can I check to make sure I indeed got a US one? Thanks!

I assume that it has a serial number. Call LabRadar and confirm the output level.

Yeah that is my last plan. I was hoping there might be an easier way

Sling out two coins in front of it, a One Deutschmark and a One Euro.
If it reports the DM rising and the Euro falling like a stone, you have a EU unit.

Reading through the manual I believe there is an easy way to tell if yours is a US/Canada model or EU.
Power up the unit and enter the menu, scroll down through the menu until you find TX Power and then select it. If you have the option of Low and Standard you have the US model. The EU model only has Low from what I have read.
