It does heat up quick. The stock is way too small for me also. If it doesn't sell I will probably just re-barrel to a 260ai or 25-284 or 257 Rob AI. I don't like the light 22" for my needs, but I do like the action. So outfitting it with a #3 fluted 24" barrel does have me excited.

What is the length of pull on the stock? Would it be suitable as a youth rifle?

Weighs 5lbs 10oz bare. Came in at 7lbs 2 oz at hunting weight. I originally bought it for my wife and daughters to shoot when they got older.

I think it would be great youth rifle.
