Jewell trigger issue

I had that exact same symptom on my Diamond that was part of their recall. It would also not drop the hammer until I touched the bolt handle. Try cleaning it. If that fixes it I'd still want plenty of rounds downrange to trust it again.

When was the recall? Were you contacted

It was last year, I believe. You can go to their site and it explains which serial numbers are affected.

And, no, I was not contacted. But, I never registered so they would have no idea who I am.

I wanted to follow up on this. I sent the trigger to Jewell last Tuesday. It is being delivered back to me today.

The verdict was a broken main spring, so it was a failure, not a dirty trigger.
