J107 Eberlestock dragon fly

I have the hunting version of this pack as well, love the pack, but it tends to allow my dumb *** to pack more gear than I need!:) Some of my rifles do tend to ride a little high in the pack, I like the looks of the "gun-slinger" pack for a day pack option, a little lighter and more generous space for the rifle that allows it to hang lower. I think for the type of hunting I do (we have been doing drop camps/using horses to get the bulk of the gear into camp, then doing day hikes out of our base camp, I am thinking a smaller more compact pack will work well for that) I am going to get a few more seasons out of the J107 before I dole out any more dough for another pack though unless I come across a good deal and it does work very well if I am actually packing in with my small tent and all of my gear.
