ISO smith for rifle build, Nashville area

I've got a Surgeon 591 that I want to turn in to a Magnum bolt SA. Need someone to chamber a barrel and spin it on then get it in to a stock. I'll source the bolt. Anyone know a reputable gunsmith around here?

Nice guy. He hangs out on another forum and is a stand up guy. Have not used him but would not hesitate to. Other guys have used him and really like his work. About 3 hrs from me. Makes good tuners too.

Your not wrong either way. I would rather drive 1-3 hrs to a good smith and meet face to face. I know there are alot of good guys to ship it too , I just prefer to meet and shake a mans hand.

I have worked with Ian at Elemental Industries. He is in Cookeville. Both rifles he's built for me and two for friends have been one-hole shooters. I also really like that he will typically schedule your work right onto his board when you are there meeting with him, and then he actually sticks to.thay timeframe.....really great guy and crazy smart too. TN Tech grad.

Bugholes in Cookeville. I've used them twice for rifles, a bunch for barrels. I switched to them after Vesta got so busy, he got most of his barrels and actions from them at that time. I am saving for a bdl rebuild next year with them.

I use Rich Modzelewski at Echo 3 Armory in Chapel Hill TN. He's built two rifles for me personally and a lot of rifles for other members at our Strategic Edge shooting range in Chapel Hill. Rich is an ex Marine and is an upright guy.
