You would have to compare the NF ATACR F1 to a TT to be even close. Then, price is not "double" for the TT over the NF ATACR F1.
I have shot behind no less than 40 different NF scopes. The ATACR F1 is a great scope. It is probably THE top choice for American hunters who want to step up to top tier optics. For 98% of shooters, they are about as far up as people will go.
For me, I can see a difference in glass quality between NF ATACR F1 & TT.

Mechanically, the TT turrets cannot be beat.
Reticle choice might be your determining factor, but the new TT Gen 3XR is awesome. The Mil-C from NF is great too.
I own several top tier scopes. Not a single NF though. But I do own 3 TTs.
ZCO would be another top choice. I own 2 of the 4-20×50 versions, one on my personal 25SST. The other on one of my 6.5SS.
Maybe even consider a S&B PMII 3-20×50US or 5-20×50US.
