My order shipped out today. Patiently waiting. Think I will try them in the saum first. If I get 3600 out of them I'll be stoked. The deer on my property won't be though.

We need to share info. My 123s should be here in a day or so. I'm going to give them a go in my 6.5/06AI to see how they do compared to the 124HH. Those are running ~32 to ~3300 best I remember. If they do well we're HAPPY!I'm talking about the 123 from my 6.5 saum.

3320 fps, Peterson brass, rl16, fed 215m. This for the Absolute not the Hunter. So how fast did you get the 280ai going with the 155? I've built a crap load of them for customers and will pass it on to them.

Mine shipped today loading the 123s for 6.5 prc. Will be looking forward to your results. My 123gr AH were delivered today so I'm going to be testing them this weekend in a 24" 6.5 PRC with ADG brass, StaBall 6.5 and CCI 250 primers. Also waiting on the new .30 cals as I want to load them for my brothers .300 WM.
On an additional note as StaBall isn't in my QuickLoad, if somebody who has Quickload is testing the new AH see if you can play with the engraving force to get the velocity numbers to match up. That might be the key to getting more accurate predictions with the faster powders using this bullet.
The 6.5 PRC is very similar ballistically to the 6.5-284 Norma (I own one). You'll want to look at RL23, Retumbo and RL26. I mainly use RL23.Bit of a noob here, (please forgive me). Would it be safe to say that rl16 wouldnt work well in 6.5 prc if it works that well in 6.5CM? Do i need to find a powder that would get me closer to 100% case fill? Similar barrel.
According to what Steve said earlier, they should be the same as the standard Hammer Hunter. What is the expansion design of AH compared to HH?
Will/are they explosive on game?
No offense intended, I was simply referencing my source. It is hard for anyone to follow along with a 27 page thread. I hope all gets well for youThanks codyadams. I have been following from the beginning, but obviously missed that, or did not retain it. Drs. call it chemo brain.
