Injured and out

"EMS responders begin pouring in and assessing the mess they've been dealt with. They coordinated and planned and in no time I'm on a flight to trauma care. At your worst moment they are the unsung heroes and I cannot tell you how grateful I am people do such incredible service."
Totally agree. I had a similar but not as bad experience. I'm sure glad they are there wen we need them. God Bless Them.
Hang in there, bet you will recover before too long.

My health is my livelihood ....hope you wise up ... sell that bike
Some people live life unafraid of the "what ifs". If you choose to let the fear of "what if" control your life, good for you. Enjoy.
I don't see any reason for one man to tell another how to live his life.

Like many on here, I've been riding bikes (mostly street bikes) since my teens and have (and have had) many friends who also rode.
I've lost friends to bike wrecks, but also some to car wrecks and health issues. Do I quit driving a car because "what if"? Do I quit eating bacon because "what if"?

Nope.

We've all had wrecks that we would rather have not had but that doesn't mean we give up what we enjoy because we're afraid for "what if".
At some point, we may decide to give up things we love but that is a hugely personal decision.

Sorry about the rant, Brent. I hope you're doing better and look forward to seeing you back here.
