Screw the Boss off and screw on a suppressor.....no problem getting an adaptor for your suppressor.....

Precision Armament makes a muzle thread adaptor M4ADP-2-SS 9/16-24 to 5/8-24. I am not sure if this will work for the .338 though
Correction, that will not work on the .338, I just checked, I know it will on my 30.06 though.

Have had B&C stocks on a few Model 70's, both standard and magnum action, but I have to say I prefer the robust manufacture of HS-Precision stocks for my 375 Weatherby/340 Weatherby/300 Weatherby switch barrel, and my 416 Remington. The B&C stock on my Model 70 EW in 338WM is lightweight and makes for a nice carry stalking rifle, but I find it 'tinny' and it resonates upon firing.
