7-08AI 18" barrel (why I went AI) with RL-17 and a 150ELD-X, I'm getting 2675fps and great results.

Probably my 280ai. There are few things on the planet that will argue the 155AH at 3150 isn't enough. It's about all I want recoil wise anymore, and I don't like a brake while hunting (or the length of a can).

My 7mm-08 a/i is a 700 action with a 20" hart 1-9 twist barrel and topped with a vias brake. My load is nosler brass, 48 grn of h4350, gm210m primers, berger 140 vld, coal of 2.810", and a velocity of 2815 fps. This load will shoot .5 moa out 500 yrds all day. More speed would be nice but the groups open up drastically with this rig. I have some new Lapua brass, just waiting for warmer weather to do some testing with it.
