I picked some up in locally a couple weeks ago. Going to use it in .243 Win., .270 Win., 270WSM, and 300 Win. Mag.
I just looked at 4 on line sites and they are all out. I don't know if there is any in stock here now locally or not, haven't looked sense I picked mine up.

So a couple of months ago I picked up a pound of this for my 300 win mag and developed a good load with 215 hybrids. Now I'm needing more and haven't been able to find any anywhere. I've been checking often online but if anyone has any tips to try to catch some before its sold out that would be awesome. Or is it just not being replenished anywhere at this time? Thanks for any help!
Have you checked velocity? It was way, way under Hodgdon manual when i loaded it in my 300 Win Mag. Lost interest and found RL23 and RL26 up to snuff with velocity and accuracy. Velocity with RL26 was over Alliant website. Check Simpson article in Hodgdon Annual loading 7977.....

My muzzle velocity in the node I'm using is 2860 but it did have a faster node at 2960 but not as consistent

2860 with a 215g bullet out of a 300 WM with a 24" barrel is pretty good for any stick powder; 2960 wow! You using 30" barrel or what?

My load with 215's and h1000 was at 78.3 running 2970... 24" bartlein. I know, hotter than the devil. BUT.... I didn't have any sticky bolt lift, not a single ejector mark, AND I did a "torture test " with the ADG brass and I loaded 3 pcs, 17 times each with this load..... they were still going strong.

No, that's a 26". Pretty common with the 215 hybrid because of the shorter bearing service. It's a bartlein barrel. Average speed

7977:
I tried various charge weights with the 212ELDX nothing worked. I then tried various charge weights with 168amax. Nothing good either.
Reloader 23:
A bit over MOA with highest velocity with ELDX. Same with 168 Amax
Accurate 4350:
Sub MOA with 65.5gr consistently. Runs 60fps under RL23. 2770fps vs 2830fps

What is this 240 you referenced?

H4831SC is my go-to powder for all of my .300 WMs. I have 178s, 212s, and 220s but have not tried loading them yet. FYSA, just in case you need it ...
