Ignored members quoting you?!

I just don't get it, there are several members who have quoted, or mentioned me expecting replies that will NEVER come, yet still persist after not receiving an answer…bewildering at best.

Wanting someone else to know you've ignored them seems incredibly petty and childish.

I only have 3 people on ignore. I don't see their posts at all, and if their post shows up in a quote of a member not on ignore it shows up like Darryle Posted. Outside of sending them a PM, I don't know of any way to let a person you ignored know they are on ignore. I haven't bothered to do that, however, if they quote me, I never respond.

His ignore doesn't affect their ability to see his post, just blocks their threads and posts from him seeing them.

Except in my case, I have to ignore what I write while I am writing it

There is far more satisfaction and personal gratification for me in just telling someone that they are a simply a lager pile of steaming crap....get it over and done with.... ignoring a situation...just means it's still there waiting! Geeeeez
