If you only could have one scope??

I have shot enough deer at 500y with a 2x7 scope left on 2X, to know I do not need high power scopes for hunting.

I do need them for sighting in. I wish they were 40x then.

My most typical compromise is a 2x10x40 from Leupold, SWAFA, Swarovski, Weaver, Sightron, S&B, Nightforce, or whoever.

I hate heavy scopes.
