Yes it is! Especialy if you have more than 3 rifles that you do NOT want to rule out!!!!!This question is too difficult to answer.
I resurrected an old post. Seemed like an interesting topic. At 4 years old, I may have replied already. 30-06, 12 gauge, 223 fast twist.
Hahhahahaa. I actually don't have 17. I need more. I have 8 at the momentI didn't ever think I was a gun nut, but after reading Calvin45's remark, I started thinking I don't had 17 guns. So I started counting in my head. That lead to me going to the safe and counting. 28 is what I ended up with and only 3 of them, I would live without.
It's never really complete. There will always be a new want or need. I need a lever gun, a nice revolver, I would like to build something semi custom off a Tikka action, always thought a true benchrest rifle in 7mm br would be cool, 6mm ARC has my attention for a youth rifle (ya know for the kids), I could keep going but this is the cycle.Hahhahahaa. I shouldn't have sold some I did. Need to sneak a muzzleloader, a ruger 10/22 and a proper waterfowl shotgun in there and I'll be complete. Of course, I also have some dreams…
On the serious plans some day note: a rebarreled savage 112 magnum target action shooting some member of the 33 xc cartridge family AND a classic safari type rifle in 470 capstick (would settle for 458 Lott)
Of course if a mint condition savage 99 in 250-300 or .358 Winchester shows up it will have my full attention.
And why the heck do I still not have a member of the RUM family, or the .378 wby family in my collection?????
I have work to do….
